1:1 exercise plans

Feel better, move with more confidence and manage chronic conditions – with personalised plans from an Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Life can throw some pretty big challenges at us – from chronic conditions to the demands of pregnancy and childbirth to just not having enough hours in the day to get things done.

And when we’re facing those things, it can be difficult to decide where to start with exercise, even if we know it’s going to help us.

That’s where I come in. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, I can assess where you’re starting from, which challenges you’re facing, what you want to achieve and how that fits in with your lifestyle – and develop a personalised exercise program to suit you.

So that no matter what fitness level you’re at, you can start moving more with achievable exercises that take you closer to your goals.

Working with an exercise physiologist can help you:

  • Feel stronger, flexible and more confident as you move through the world.

  • Boost your mental wellbeing when it comes to reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep and memory, and promoting feelings of relaxation and positivity.

  • Manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease or Parkinson’s in a natural and easily accessible way.

  • Prepare for and recover from pregnancy and post-partum.

  • Prepare for and recover from surgery, illness or injury.

  • Maintain strength, flexibility and independence as you age.

  • Understand your body better so you know why it responds to exercise and how you can better support it.

Exercise that works for your lifestyle (not the other way around)

I’m an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, but I’m also a busy business owner and mum, and I know how hard it can be to make time for movement.

That’s why I create exercise plans that fit within your lifestyle, will never push you beyond your limits, and am a big advocate for exercise ‘snacks’ – short bursts of exercise that fit within your day-to-day life.

I also leverage the science behind how we think and act to help you stay motivated long-term, so you see consistent, sustainable improvements.

“Motivated, enthusiastic, skilled.”

“I knew you were the right fit for me because you are so motivated, enthusiastic, skilled, and reliable. Personally I never enjoyed exercise but I had every confidence in your assessment. During my initial assessment I felt relaxed – I knew it was “doable” and I knew the importance of doing it. The program meets all my expectations and is more personalised than assessments I’ve done before.”

1:1 sessions with a Coffs Harbour exercise physiologist

  • Anyone who wants to feel stronger, more flexible and more confident – whether you’re managing a chronic condition, getting back into exercise after an injury or break, or an active athlete looking to level up your training.

  • Once you’ve booked your consultation and filled out my pre-exercise screening form, we can meet in-person at my rooms in Coffs Harbour or via telehealth.

During your first session, I’ll undertake a thorough assessment that takes into account your health, history, lifestyle, goals, age and fitness.

Afterwards, I’ll create a personalised exercise plan for you to follow. This isn’t a template or cookie-cutter plan, it’s a custom program designed to support your individual needs.

Now we carry out the plan! This is a blend of exercises you complete on your own and working with me in person or via telehealth. As we go, I’ll check in regularly to montior your progress, support you to stay on track and modify the plan to support your growing fitness.

Here’s some more info about what to expect.

  • I charge $180/hour, but in 20 minute increments to suit your capacity, time and budget.

If you have a chronic health condition, you may be eligible for a GP Management Plan which entitles you to five medicare-rebatable visits to allied health professionals like me each year.

If you have private health, you may also be able to claim your visit, depending on your level of coverage.

  • My rooms are located at Coffs Health Hub at 4/30 Orlando Street, Coffs Harbour Jetty, New South Wales, 2450.

  • Absolutely! I’m happy to see you via telehealth.

  • No, you don’t. Your GP can refer you on a 'GP Management Plan' if you have a chronic condition  that lasts for longer than three months, but you can also come in without a referral.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. Let’s take the first step toward a stronger, more confident you – together.
