Medicise blog
Lettuce Snow — an exercise physiologist’s blog letting you know what’s happening in health (and what it means for you).
Definition: Strine
Noun
The English language as spoken by Australians; the Australian accent, especially when considered pronounced.
Many moons ago, I did a speech on Strine (as in the English language as spoken by Australians). Some years after that, I was involved with the website design for a central database of services for young people in my region (the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia).
My preferred name for the website was “Lettuce Snow” – when spoken with an Aussie drawl it sounds more like Let us know. I’ve held onto it as an exciting name option. And now here we are!
I am going to use it as the name for my blog so that I can let you all know about what I see as the hot topics in health or pass on interesting research that’s happening — and what it could mean for you.
Here’s how we can work together:
-
